Metrology is the science of measurement and it includes all the theoretical and practical aspects of measurement as well as the design and realization of complex devices exploiting physical phenomena at the human knowledge boundaries to be used as extremely accurate standards. That is why time is measured with nuclear phenomena, length with light phenomena, force with gravity-based machines. Every country has one or more metrological institutes that collaborates with the other countries ones under the Metre Convention treaty. To validate our metering technology, it has been designed and realized the first worldwide thermal fluid dynamic mockup for heating exchange experimentation. To do something that the global heating allocation industry has always fear to do: detect the measurement accuracy in real working conditions, not in ideal ones as used for the heating cost allocator devices.Discover more
Primary Energy Consumption, Pollution and People Health: Obligation to Adopt Heating Allocation Systems as a European Union Policy
According to a 2004 survey from the European Union, the residential sector accounts for as much as ¼ of the total European primary energy consumption and approximately 75% of this is for heating residential spaces. This roughly means that the 18% of the European energy expenses and air pollution comes from what we literally burn for heating our houses. According to several medical research studies, air pollution in the major European cities kills more than twice as many people as car accidents. But this is not widely reported by media and perceived by citizens. Since there are great wastages in our houses, the European Union promulgated a directive that requires the installation of heating conversion systems as an opportunity for the residents to save money, for Europe to be less dependent on oil and gas producing countries and for people to live in a healthier environment. The European obligation deadline is 31st December 2016.Discover more
